Rapier is the Novan Commonwealths most common special ordnance missile artillery system it consists of a fully rotating mount very similar to Shielder but in this case has launch rails for four missiles. This system is capable of launching various specialist missiles including medium to high altitude antiaircraft missiles, long range high explosive, anti armour, and scatterable mines to name but a few. This variant utilises the standard static cruciform mount but it can be seen mounted on various static and mobile units where ever Novan forces are encountered.
