The Wyvern is an ultra light orbital insertion and equipment transporter especially developed for Novan Elite’s advanced recon team deployment. Its high top speed, smaller size and integrated vectored thrusters make the Wyvern perfect for deploying in confined landing zones and urban environments as well as deep behind enemy lines. These traits, combined with the Wyvern’s flexible, modular design make them ideal craft for deploying a variety of small specialist teams to key battlefield locations. Heavily armed for a craft of its size the Wyvern has often been deployed in the aerial fire support roll when needed although this is not its primary function.

Two variants currently serve with the Novan Elites forces:

Wyvern A is a dedicated recon team transport, its small cramped passenger compartment is capable of holding a 5 to 6 man team plus their equipment. It is crewed by a single Elites pilot who also operates the crafts various weapons systems.

Wyvern B replaces the passenger bay in favour of an open cargo bay and attachment claw assemble with magnetic locking points for transporting various cargo modules to the surface. Wyvern B has the capability to deploy drones and special ordnance to the combat zone as the mission dictates.

The Dropships dimensions are: 15.4 metres long with a wingspan of 16 metres.

Set contains the parts to make one Wyvern dropship model, either the recon team transport or the cargo module hauler variant can be built.

Model approximate dimensions: Length = 50mm, Wingspan = 52mm, Height = 12mm.

Please note that this model can only be built in flight mode and that we will look at the potential for a landed version should demand require it.
