Shielder is the Novan Commonwealths standard low altitude air defence artillery system it consists of a quad autocannon armament mounted in a fully rotating turret with the ability to shoot a ground level targets as well as enemy aircraft. The system is self contained and has been mounted on numerous ground platforms and vehicles over the years this particular variant uses the static ground mount cruciform commonly seen guarding artillery positions and also at military installations across Novan space.
